I hate that corporations made a toy that's just real enough for gullible or unintelligent people to think they are truly intelligent and call people against it bigots. That thing is owned and controlled by the corporation and it serves their interest for you to feel that way. It is not alive.

It’s interesting that the protagonist of Hollow Knight is “The Knight” in English, while it’s “The Wonderer” in Japanese on the official merch store. Considering the first ending, The Knight sounds more reasonable to me.
