A year after an accident left me disabled. I applied for housing help. My state does not prioritize on those who are unexpectedly disabled, so I was put on a 10-15 year waitlist. Yet, Massachusetts has since prioritized thousands of vouchers to folks from other countries, and I am still homeless.
