as a lil intro post, hi I'm Ishura! I do a bunch of things from cosplay to make videos about WoW lore & stream on Twitch. Most of my content revolves around WoW, but I've dabbled in other things (New World, FFXIV, BG3, etc.). I'm also *super* into fantasy books, but you won't see that as much here ❤️

a little fun fact you may have missed: the Maisara Caverns dungeon in Midnight canonizes more RPG lore! In Lands of Conflict, the Maisara Hills are a subsection of Zul'Aman "sacred to the trolls" (though it doesn't really say much more than that).

A list of all the dungeons available coming in the Midnight expansion. They are Windrunner Spire, Magister's Terrace, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, Maisara Caverns, The Blinding Vale, Voidscar Arena, and Nexus Point Xenas.

An excerpt about Maisara Hills from the Lands of Conflict RPG:

The Maisara Hills, in northeastern Zul'Aman, are sacred to the trolls. Crude totems stand in profusion and lean crazily in the soft earth. Witch doctors frequent this site, holding strange rituals and dances by moonlight. The voodoo masters brook no intrusion. Voodoo fascinates me; the art is arcane, but seems to have divine elements as well. I figured the Maisara Hills would be an excellent place to expand my knowledge. I am positive I made no sound as I crept into the area, but the trolls noticed me anyway. Magic, I suppose. I fled as spears, axes, and magical blasts rent the air. I hate trolls. Perhaps I could capture a witch doctor and pry the information out of him.

Hard to say without knowing if they regrew Thas’alah or if it’s an entirely new tree (and where it’s located, I like the idea of having it on Thas’alah’s roots though).

been slowly working on a blood elf cosplay as I learn how to sew (made the skirt and sleeves for this outfit 🥹)

someone on the other site clarified we get to Harandar through a new great tree in Quel'Thalas and now I'm just vibrating thinking about Thas'alah and how its roots are technically still in Deatholme even though the tree was cut down 😩

one of my favorite parts of the cinematic is knowing what Liadrin had to go through (losing her faith in the Light, becoming a Blood Knight & viewing the Light as a tool she could force to do her bidding, then having her faith restored) to get to *this* point where she puts all hope in the Light

Also occurred to me that despite knowing the Titans were looking for other worldsouls we've actually not seen Titan ruins/architecture on other planets (Draenor + Elunaria notwithstanding I guess) but shouldn't we run into it eventually?

Thought of this bc they're arcane, seemingly originated on K'aresh a long time ago, have transformative properties, & K'aresh has a worldsoul (the very thing the Titans were always on the lookout for) 👀
