Among the comics I remember best in my many years of reading (I’m not a collector) are the original New Mutants run, Secret Six, All Star Squadron, Infinity Inc., Midnighter by Steve Orlando, and Williamson’s Thor.
It’s been some damned good reading, some fantastic artistic expression, and fun!!!

DC Comics (Marvel too) should never be specific in terms of years. Because of their long history, the existence of certain characters in their modern universe makes no sense. Jay Garrick should be dead, and so should almost all of the original JSA.

The Supergirl trailer looks great. I am really looking forward to it.
I am getting a bit concerned that Gunn seems more interested in secondary characters than the big names at DC.
Batman I get. They don’t want to overdo it with The Batman still going, but some of the projects seem odd.

Why do female super heroes always seem to wear bustiers and bikini bottoms as costumes? Can we grow up already? Do we have to sexualize or make objects of women all the time like this? Have we learned nothing?

I think the way Superman’s powers were are telekinetic. His body, mind really, uses the solar energy to fuel a field of telekinesis around his body. Using telekenises he manipulates the gravity field, shields himself from harm, manipulates the energy of systems to heat them and cool them. Etc.

I hate the Japanese style of drawing human faces in manga and anime. If I see it I turn the show off or put the comic back on the shelf. I just detest it.

I don’t know why, but I can’t seem to get too into this latest JSA comics series. I am hoping the year one storyline will catch me good because I love the JSA.
Maybe this book just needs to be set in war time and out the younger ones into an infinity inc comic.

K.O. is a silly idea with great execution. The art is great, the writing well paced and the characters well developed, or at least not being counter to what they are in current books, and the flow of ideas continues to impress.
But the idea itself is silly. Almost silver age silly. In a good way!

Do you think we will see a true redemption arc for Terra on #TeenTitans with K.O.?
I am hoping so, her corruption by #Deathstroke when she was just a teenager is something that deserves to be treated with kindness. Her learning to deal with her trauma and abuse with Raven’s help would be awesome!
