Ok but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s the sitting speaker’s job to swear in new reps or, if the speaker is incapacitated in anyway, to select a deputy to fulfill that duty. But nowhere does it say any member can administer the oath to another member if the speaker won’t do it.

According to this, any member, typically the longest serving member, administers the oath to the speaker. The speaker is then responsible for administering the other to members and clerks. I see no work around here.

It’s the good greedy. It’s the greed that benefits your community. We supply a couple of farms with a bit of seed and knowing our seed bank is putting a little food on peoples tables in our community and beyond is so gratifying. I really didn’t expect it to be such a fulfilling venture.

Change out. At the start it was every 10 days but once they are settled in to the environment I only have to change them every few months. The sachets have an indicator bead in them so when that’s black it’s time to swap them out. Then we dehydrate the sachet and it’s good to go again.

Depends on how it’s stored and what it is. Parsnips have to be renewed every year but most are good for 2-5 years. Longer if store properly ( in jars in a cool dark, place.) you can also freeze them for long term storage. It was worth planting those seeds because you never know. Scientists found a

How to save Cuke seeds you know how to save seed from all squash.
After we got all the seed we germination tested it which is simple but takes time. Then we put out a call for growers and hit a big response. It’s allowed us to renew the older seed quickly. I can go in about this for hours lol!

It’s older seed from previous seasons that didn’t sell and occasionally new seed that they have an over abundance of. We’re actually planning to do just that as well as some how too pdf’s for seed saving. There’s loads of book on it but we thought a shorter format would be handier. Plus if you know

Seed to get us going so that sealed the deal. We then wrote to 5 other suppliers and they all donated. We’ve since developed a network of local gardeners who grow out seed for us. Our plan was supposed to take 5 years and we’re just at the end of year two and we’ve collected almost 400 cultivars
