I don't really know what you mean by that. Since you don't seem to have any genuine criticisms you want to bring up and nothing is coming out of this, I'm stopping our conversation. I also tried to ask your friend to clarify something and they didn't respond, so I'm stepping back for good

Thank you for actually articulating your criticisms, I can't really get anything useful out of a post asking if Dante's "rcta" so I genuinely appreciate the well worded criticism. I'll admit that I'm not the best with matching traditional colors and I'll try to do better in the future, but- (1/2)

That's all I'm gonna say on the matter cuz I don't wanna drag this out (I didn't even want to make this thread but I didn't want people to think I'm a whitewasher cuz ew). If you're black & you have any genuine concerns with how I draw black people you can bring it up to me and I'll 100% listen. If you're just gonna try and be malicious about it I'm just gonna block you and not say anything. That's all I have to say 👍

-frankly even if I messed up his skin color accidentally, it's still pretty clear that he's supposed to be a black man imo. I'm not black so I don't mind suggestions or constructive criticism regarding how I portray Dante and other black charas I may draw but this very obviously malicious 3/4

-and the lighting of the room in which I took the pic of the drawing may have affected the colors. Also, Dante's skin has ALWAYS been kinda pink. HE HAS A COOL UNDERTONE 😭😭 Whitewashing isn't just about making the skin color lighter, it's also about erasing a character's features and- 2/4

Daily for April 18, 2024. Shadow and his roommate, Blaze, are on the couch. Shadow is laughing at something, beer in hand, while Blaze has one hand on Shadow’s shoulder and a blunt in the other, smiling at him. The color scheme is more pinkish.
