the second half especially was so tense my jaw hurts
dont have the energy to write mythoughts in depth but yeah. very powerful andbeautiful movie and it will probably be in my mind for a while

to add to this the priest was very captivating, could feel his anguish and struggle through the screen, the sorrow in his eyes, his frail posture that goes weaker as the movie advances

and apparently bresson has a very distinct style (havent watched enough movies to have an understanding but yeah it is quite special, the actors are barely acting for one), i'll have to watch more of his stuff but maybe in a little while because they are not the most digestible to say the least

still a great watch i dont regret it, cinematography was phenomenal, despite not understanding all the religious themes (which is kinda the main stuff in this movie) i still got the feeling and emotions across

As much as I love elden ring I think I have too little self restraint so I've been abusing the mimic tear a bit too much to my liking and maybe that resulted in me not digging the combat aspect that much compared to say bloodborne,,,, I'll defo try to not use it on a new playthrough though
