You wouldn’t see it from traditional media but a larger part of citizens are fully against what’s happening.

The reason they keep broadcasting how well received the policies are is to try and squash hope.

As a child I wondered why Germans didn’t DO MORE to resist and overthrow the 3rd Reich, and now living in a sick facsimile of it, I realize that a lot of them probably DID but history forgot their names, or wasn’t made aware of what they were doing.

All of the major news networks are owned by billionaires who quietly scooped them up, and even if they don’t agree with the tangerine tyrant ideologically, he’s still good for their bottom line.

US citizens ARE resisting.

I live in Illinois, and our governer J.B. Pritzker is also resisting.

Even here inside the US we have to rely on YT personalities and the BBC to get REAL news.

During Shadowbringers, there wasn’t much change.

However, when she took up reaper, the excess light bleeds out through her attacks, instead of the normal void effects. Also when using Enshroud, the consent she made a pact with took the form of a Sin Eater.

I just linked it in my FC chat last night!

I have a “years-old pumpkin cookie” from an All Saints Wake back during HW or StB.

In universe, she found it while cleaning and saved it first out of curiosity, and then as a souvenir of how simple everything was before the events of ShB/EW.
