I get your point, but they want an establishment candidate that fits their traditional models, and she's their best choice for that in Maine. I'm not surprised she considered it, but I am surprised she agreed.

The DNC needs to accept that politics in this country has moved on and isn't coming back

Janet Mills will be running for the Democratic nomination. The winner of that contest will b e running against Susan Collins, assuming she runs again.

@grahamformaine is doing very well in getting his message out. Media needs to stop treating Janet Mills as a done deal for the Dem candidate!

I see it as the DNC trying desperately to assert relevance... and failing.

I'm a fan of Janet Mills and, if she'd declared six months ago, my view on her candidacy would be different. But we already have a viable candidate in @grahamformaine.bsky.social
