Sometimes I think about how I played viola at junior conservatoire at University of Michigan, & how they helped local state schools send kids to Interlochen every summer. Anyways the Umich head of strings got convicted for child sex trafficking & Jeffrey Epstein had a holiday home at Interlochen

Phenomenal work by @medren2025.bsky.social continuing an unusually anarchic conference tradition. This conference stands out among other musicology conferences for its unique combo of high levels of calibre, craic, and camp, and it was a delight to be a part of 🥰

It took nearly 11 years of the state trying to bankrupt us, wear us down, & destroy any sense that I belonged to a community or family. But they couldn’t, and now, the home office has conceded that I do in fact belong here: I have been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain. And I ain’t going nowhere.
