SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.

Thing is, I went to see that last MI in the cinema but I took the kids to that. I can only carve out that kind of time of it’s also childcare, and I think that’s true for a lot of the potential audience of OBAA, hence we have to wait for it on VOD.

I really want to see One Battle After Another, but I don’t have 3 hours plus a half hour on either side spare and neither does anyone I know, so no wonder it’s opened soft.
