Cover is a painting of a colourful street scene somewhere in Zimbabwe: there are "Vote ZANU PF) posters with Robert Mugabe's face on them. There are two figures conversing in the foreground, and a fruit vendor nearby.

I don't post often on here, but I have a supernatural horror fiction podcast / audio drama, and I just wrapped up the first volume!

Think Magnus Archives, Hi Nay, and a touch of Welcome to Night Vale, but with Southern African folktales and myths - check it out if that's your vibe 🔥

Dingane receives a box from his late father, and an unexpected mystery unfolds.

"Call to the Dark" is a supernatural horror fiction podcast, told through short stories and epistolary pieces, and inspired by Southern African folktales and myths.

Premiered 6th April, 6PM SAST.
Title card for the "Call to the Dark" podcast. The title is in white, chalky text against a black background, with small twinkling stars dotting the negative space. A simplistic icon of a lit match to the left of the title. The top and bottom of the image is bordered by tessellated, multi-coloured triangles. Synopsis for the "Call to the Dark" podcast. The text reads:

Dingane Luthuli, a freshly unemployed 20-something in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, receives a box in the mail that was kept by his late father. Idle and intrigued, he embarks on a project to catalogue the contents of the box, but quickly gets more than he bargained for. Haunting secrets await in the writings and belongings of his father, and each new discovery pulls Dingane closer to the truth - to the sinister shadows that
lurk within the city he calls home.

"Call to the Dark" is a supernatural horror fiction podcast, told through short stories and epistolary pieces, and largely inspired by Southern African folktales and myths. Created, written, and directed by Sandile Dlamini.

A smaller version of the podcast's logo sits below the text, as well as various audio platform symbols with the tag "wherever you listen to podcasts".
