Got in a corghike as the weather is decent, and the AQI is not notably crappy. Dot and Cam gave it 4 stars, as we're avoiding wild water due to concerns about algae blooms.

Happy Canada Day. Wish we were there, especially after this disastrous day in the US senate...
After too many brutally hot days, the temperature dropped 30 degrees overnight. The boys and I were thrilled to get back into the woods to decompress from the world at large. Bonus points for only finding 1 tick on each of them; very nearly a miracle!

We're very saddened to announce that Julie's medical issues flared badly, and she demanded release on the 19th, 4 days after her 14th birthday. We're thankful her quality of life was so good until her final week, but we're all staggering with sadness, and will be for a bit.
