Inspired once again by an old nonna on Facebook, I made a cheese and onion pie. This is my first actual pie made with pizza dough. Admittedly not as good as nonna's, but still darn tasty. Italian dishes cooked from scratch are the best.

I just finished a first draft of my new novella, Wayne Barry, Drug Dealer To The Stars. As my old pal Truman Capote once remarked, "The best part of writing is having written." I'll probably have to park this one after I do a rewrite due to another, more pressing project.

The trouble and strife asked for a Greek meal this week-end so I fixed a mixed grill, spuds, a pigeon, locanico sausage, and lamb and goat chops marinated for 24 hours in my secret recipe sauce. All extremely tasty.
