According to a recent NCHS report, from 2021-23 data showed 9.3% of people >2yo in US were anemic. More sobering was that 15% of Hispanic, 15.9% of Asian, and 31.4% (1 in 3?!) of Black women were anemic. Truly shocking numbers. #medsky #FamMed

Cleveland sports belong to NE OH and need broad $ support so owners can’t blackmail fans. Potential for a better airport makes this proposal even more intersting. Opinions?

The power and flexibility of the @obsidian.md web clipper is making me rethink my Evernote setup. I’m most often clipping while reading on iOS and Evernote reliance on the share sheet is barbaric compared to this. Customizable hotkey? Templates? AI summary hooks? Yes, yes, and yes. So well done.

This is all about culture in the workplace. If a supportive culture is fostered between friendly colleagues it is not an issue. In my former office I knew I could take vacation and my fellow physicians would handle my messages because I did the same for them without question or hesitation.

I am legitimately surprised that the iOS reduce motion cues accessibility feature has been this effective. I can actually read as a passenger in the car and not get super nauseated for the first time in my life. I’m putting this testimonial out there for others out there who easily get carsick.

Jameis Winston is the perfect Browns QB. I’d compare him to a slot machine. Most people know they don’t pay out and are a waste of money. Buuut, they sure are exciting when they hit and it’s bound to happen to someone, so we keep pulling the lever. #NFL #Browns

There are few greater litmus tests for loyalty than being a Cleveland Browns fan. If someone admits to being a Browns fan you know they will be there for you in the trenches when bombs are dropping. Hold on to their friendship, they will believe in you when no reasonable person should. #nfl #browns

I’ve tried nearly everything out there but always default back to Apple Reminders + Google Calendar + Evernote. If I wasn’t an iPhone user I’d just simplify and go Google for everything and just use Tasks and Keep. First party software has nice hooks for sharing on both iOS/Android

Spot on. That’s the most impressive part. Even big sports fans wouldn’t have this kind of presence. An outsider watching this broadcast wouldn’t know he’s not part of the panel.

There are many who will agree with this sentiment. Looking forward to reading the rest of your take. It’s a great travesty how the algorithm was allowed to weaponize social media and online communications and hurt the most vulnerable of our society.

This is crazy impressive. Kevin Noki built a working FlatMac prototype from Frogdesign. I love that there are people out there talented enough to create builds like this. Hats off to this designer. #3Dprinting

Great piece of tech with huge healthcare potential. Has the capability to change lives for the better and already has saved lives. If set up in the right way (blocking unnecessary notifications) it allows for mission-critical communication while minimizing distraction.

Pretty amazing that Waze hasn’t just been folded into Google Maps already. I’m a long term Waze user and it just seems inevitable that in the process of cost-cutting this whole two map app situation will end. It makes little sense as it currently stands.

Nothing wrong with enjoying technology. Sell the current gear to offset the cost. We all buy things we don’t absolutely need but enjoy.
