There are groups like @nexusproject.bsky.social and others who have done good work, but the ADL is still strongly integrated with local and national governments, educational institutions, and local and federal police forces. They do a lot of different things at the moment.

We as a society have allowed reactionary, increasingly right-wing groups like the ADL to become the de-facto authority on antisemitism.
It's will take a while yet to unwind the ADL's influence. But we can't replace the ADL with NOTHING, either.

we talked about relationship abuse (it was focused on teen relationships because all the interns were teens either in or just out of high school), gender, sexual orientation, race, etc.

If you’re going for your first colonoscopy soon, they’ll tell you to do liquids and clear foods one to two days before prep. But if you can, start eating a bit lighter about four days before. It feels so violent because the foods are heavy and the prep clears you out. Lol
I got my first colonoscopy after Chadwick passed. And I'll say from experience, get that done. The prep is way worse than the procedure itself, and the prep is just you shittin... A LOT. More than you've ever shit. In your life. You will shit the first meal you had. Your eyes will get lighter.

it's a value i try my best to encourage in others, especially marginalized people (especially queer and trans PoC), especially because it was always done from a place of love and care because they wanted my classmates and i to leave the world a better place than when you came into it

from 5th grade thru college, one of the most consistent experiences i've had were teachers encouraging me to be intelligent; be engaged; to think deeply and passionately; to be curious; and to be critical of myself, the world, and the education i was receiving, especially as a poor Black person
