Around that time I started frequenting the metacritic forums. It was a great place and where I picked up most of my recommendations. My whole musical outlook changed. Iron and Wine and Sufjan (Seven Swans) were probably 2 of my first finds.

The Talk Talk debut not a patch on their later stuff admittedly.

The Friends Again album is great. Their only album. The song State of Art is one of my favourite songs of the 80s. I bought the reissue by the label Last Night From Glasgow a couple of years ago.
