Stopped by the Marin Country Mart for the tree lighting tonight. Nutcracker storytime opened the evening, and families gathered with free hot chocolate for the countdown. Fourth holiday event this week across AD12, and the season is just getting started.

Spent the evening at the Stinson Beach Firefighters’ Ball last night, celebrating the crews who keep our coastal communities safe. With both of my brothers-in-law serving as Marin firefighters, I’ll always show up for them. And thank you to Cover Me Badd for a great show.

I had a great time at Winter Wonderland and the tree lighting in downtown San Rafael last night. Children were running through the fake snow while families enjoyed the festivities. It was a wonderful start to the season.

The season is here, and it was great to celebrate in both San Rafael and Santa Rosa last night. The San Rafael Holiday Light Spectacular is open nightly until January 4, a beautiful way to enjoy the season. Grateful to criss cross AD12 and spend time with our communities.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park Cotati and Sally Tomatoes for another Thanksgiving lunch at the Senior Center. This annual tradition always reminds me why Rohnert Park is known as the Friendly City.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Spent the morning volunteering with the NAACP Santa Rosa Sonoma County Branch and handing out turkeys. It was good to be part of a community that shows up for one another, especially this time of year. Wishing our community a warm and hopeful Thanksgiving week.

SEIU California has endorsed our campaign for AD 12. Their 750,000 members include the workers who keep Marin and Sonoma running.

I have stood with SEIU members for years, on picket lines and in the fight for fair wages and dignity at work. Grateful for their trust.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, I’m holding the lives lost to anti-trans violence and the communities mourning them. We honor them by telling the truth, standing up to hate, and fighting for a world where every trans person can live safely and openly.

Last night I joined the community in Petaluma for the Chinatown Park plaque unveiling. Standing with elders, community leaders, and young people who are committed to keeping this history alive was powerful.

Tonight I joined the North Bay Labor Council’s COPE Awards dinner with my union brothers and sisters. Congratulations to Frank Reardon, Mike McGuire, Chris Snyder, Michael Pickens, and Patty Garbarino. Their leadership shows the strength of our labor movement. Solidarity forever.

Honoring all who’ve served our country. Your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Visiting Pearl Harbor today was a powerful reminder of the cost of war and the strength of those who serve.

This morning I joined my Teamster family in Hawaii at Kapiolani Medical Center, where hospital workers are on strike for a fair contract. As a proud Teamster wife and union member, I wanted to show my support for their fight for respect, safety, and quality care.

Honored to receive the Heart of the Seawolf Award from the SSU Young Dems. Thank you for your leadership at Sonoma State and across our region, and congratulations to Iliana Madrigal and Eric Vazquez on their awards.

Voters across the country reminded us what hope looks like. Yes on Prop 50. No on the Fairfax recall. Democrats elected in NJ & VA. Zohran Mamdani’s win shows a new generation of people-powered leaders is rising—and in AD 12, we’re ready for the next chapter.

Last night’s Day of the Dead parade in Point Reyes was a beautiful community event, with people of all ages marching, singing, and carrying images of loved ones. It ended at the Dance Palace, where a stunning ofrenda invited everyone to pause and reflect.

Thank you to Girasol Collective and all the partners who made Almas Vivas in Cotati such a powerful celebration of life, love, and culture. Honoring our ancestors together keeps our communities connected.

I was honored to march in Petaluma’s 25th annual Día de los Muertos procession last night. The music and dance were incredible, and a two-year-old dancer stole everyone’s heart. A beautiful night of culture, remembrance, and community.

Joined the Día de los Muertos procession in Novato this afternoon to honor loved ones. Grateful to everyone who made it such a beautiful event. We’ll be at more celebrations across the North Bay this weekend.

Honored to be endorsed by the California Faculty Association, representing 29,000 professors, counselors, librarians, and coaches across the CSU system. Together, we’re fighting for quality public education and fair treatment for the people who make it possible.

I was in Fairfax tonight with Senator Mike McGuire, Assemblymember Damon Connolly, and community members talking with voters about voting No on the recalls targeting Mayor Lisel Blash and Vice Mayor Stephanie Hellman. Fairfax deserves fairness and stability, not division.

This evening I joined residents at Youngstown Mobile Park in Petaluma to stand with seniors who own their homes but rent the land beneath them and are facing 200% rent hikes. It’s unacceptable. Everyone deserves stability and respect.
