....this morning I decided to try out Linux Mint and wow! This is exactly the experience I was looking for! With the Windows-like feel to it (thanks to the Cinnamon DE) and I was able to get Cairo Dock working no problem, I think I'm definitely choosing this as my go-to Linux distro for the drive!

Next I tried Fedora KDE Plasma Desktop, which has KDE Plasma as the DE. This one was much more customizable, but I was getting kernel error messages after updating (which hopefully it has to do with VMware). I liked this one better, and was considering on using this for the SSD drive, until....

I'm been fiddling around with different Linux distros thru VMware:

Starting with Fedora, which taught me alot of stuff about using Linux. And I liked the Gnome Desktop Environment that came with it, but it wasn't as customizable as I thought. It was beginner-friendly though.

I might even install Linux on my old MobileStudio Pro (1st Gen) since Windows 10 will be discontinued soon, and this laptop doesn't have the hardware required for Win11. So I guess now is the time to make the switch.

Just have to research if everything will work on it, including the Wacom drivers.

Since I have an extra SSD drive from my previous PC that I don't use anymore, I've been thinking of installing Linux on it and setting up a dual boot system for my PC with one drive (my current drive) running Windows and another one (the SSD drive) running Linux.

I remember watching this with my sister, while our parents went in another auditorium to watch Fire in the Sky.

I swear my memory registered it as some supernatural action film from decades ago, much like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and it was instead a film I watched in recent years.

Either my brain is starting to fail or much of this movie has been wiped from memory for how boring it was.

...I went to the Tip of my Tongue subreddit for answers. Turns out it wasn't from a movie from the 00s. It was from Breaking Dawn Part 2; a movie I watched twice a few years back w/ Rifftrax commentary, and I completely forgotten the bit when they started recruiting other vampires for the battle.

So yesterday, I kept thinking of this movie I remember watching back in the late 00s about a group of supernaturals that had a vampire that was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War and he would make these dumbass lines about the British. I couldn't remember what the film was called, so.......
