18 hours in the hospital yesterday getting laughed at by staff instead of getting adequate help. Literally walked out, ripped the IV out my arm, and no one even noticed. Went home and took a nap, going to a different hospital now.

Almost every thing I learned as a child about how the world was supposed to work has been proven almost blatantly wrong. Do we just tell kids boring fairy tales as a means of indoctrination, or did we really lose the plot this bad?
