Not a literal WIP, but an allusion to my WIP... that I just posted to tumblr, about writing #MurderFabrication, and I genuinely felt compelled to share.
aseriesofunfortunatejan on tumblr, 29 minutes ago: It feels really weird whenever I reference something from Chapter 1 (or more importantly, finally unload one Chekhov's gun from Chapter 1), because I know that to Neo, and to a potential new reader, this stuff just happened. Sure, Murder Fabrication is pretty long, but an active new reader would still have read Chapter 1 rather recently. But to me, it's been years. It's this weird time capsule. I'm writing about something that simultaneously happened in 2018, and... what, 2 or 3 weeks ago? (I need to re-count my days.) It genuinely feels weird. I can tell both timeframes co-exist in my brain. "Emily gave me this" (a couple weeks ago) [The screenshot underneath shows a timestamp, which reads as such: Story Teller, Tuesday November 20, 2018 (6:39am)]
