Yes. I use EQ8 software to make designs and I was just experimenting with some blocks in the program and kinda came up with it by accident.

Okay, I don’t know how I feel about this quilt. I like the idea but, I don’t exactly like the colors I picked. I wish I had gone with a solid background fabric instead of the color shift fabric. It’s definitely a conversation piece.

I made this quilt for a good friend’s first baby. You can’t see it but some of the fabric came out super linty after the wash. Hopefully a baby will have lower standards than I do.

For February I decided to make a quilt for black history month. I made this quilt inspired by the children’s book The Snowy Day. It was written in 1962. It’s considered to be one of the first children’s books to feature a black child protagonist.
