Today marked move-in day at 20 Stephenson Aman in Clarendon Hill. The highlight was hearing from the leaders of Clarendon Residents United about their experience tirelessly advocating for Clarendon residents throughout the process.

At long last Junction Park is fully open! It was a joyous occasion on Friday as we cut the ribbon on Somerville's newest park along the Community Path.

Very cool honoring Somerville firefighter Danielle O'Hearn with a citation at the City Council's regular meeting on Thursday night, in recognition of her work with Millie the first responder dog and the children's book she wrote about Millie.

Veterans Day honors those who've served our country. I started out the day at the Mystic Learning Center for a Veterans Day event, then moved on to the Dilboy VFW for a speaking program and wreath-laying. Finally, I attended the Somerville Museum's event at Milk Row Cemetery. Thank you, veterans!

Attended a screening of Somerville filmmaker Brian Truglio's documentary film, Running Home, at the Somerville Theatre. The subject of film, Mike Wardian, was on hand with Brian for a Q&A afterward about the film and the transcontinental run featured in it.

Celebrated turning 49 in Portland (the West Coast one), where they have amazing food and drinks but don't take street sweeping nearly as seriously as we do in Somerville #scorpiomayor

Took the Orange Line from Assembly to State this morning and it went exactly how it should. No delays. No slow zones. Just public transit moving people around efficiently. Grateful to @mbta.com for doing the work to change things. Let's keep this going.

Exciting morning! I held my first press conference as Mayor-elect. Thank you to all who came out and asked questions about the election results, transition team planning, and pertinent issues like affordable housing and homelessness.
