Carter Jensen just hit a mammoth home run for his third hit of the afternoon.

On a 3-0 pitch, he smacked a 482-foot blast that nearly cleared the berm in RF at Sutter Health Park. It's the *longest home run by a Royal in the Statcast era (2015-pres.).*

Carter Jensen's caught stealing of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to end the 7th inning was the second of his career & his first at Kauffman Stadium.

His first CS was credited as a result of a 1-3-4 pickoff, so today's instance was the first *runner he's thrown out* as a big leaguer.

Today's game includes a matchup of 2024 1st round picks in Jac Caglianone (6th) & Trey Yesavage (20th), who were USA Baseball Collegiate National Team teammates in 2023.

It's the second matchup this season of 2024 1st round picks. Chase Burns (2nd) faced Nick Kurtz (4th) last weekend in Sacramento.
