There are now more federal immigration agents in MN than the 10 largest Twin Cities police departments combined.
9% of ICE is in MN right now, even though MN has less than 1% of the nation's undocumented immigrants.

I don't think we need the few journalists we have left to retweet videos without substantiating and adding important context. Instead, I think we have a responsibility before we publish something to verify that it's real and that it's true. Every video we publish is backed up by reporting etc.

I've been reflecting over the past few days on the value of Minnesota's robust and resilient local media.
When an agent provocateur came to town with the goal of inciting racial hatred, it was local media that acted as a fire hydrant, providing timely reporting that has helped douse the flames.
