Genuinely happy with the new PR push from Gavin Newsom. Hats off to his PR team, but it’s deeply upsetting that right now he’s one of the only ones pushing back against the Trump admin. The enemy of my enemy is my friend still feels bad even if it’s true in this situation.

No matter what happens after we get through all this nonsense, we have to make sure people are held accountable. You don’t get to run and hide from this, every one of these people needs to be in jail for what they are doing to this country and its people.

Really glad to see the protest in Australia for Palestine was so large. I just hate that we have to spend so much time in the U.S convincing people it’s not ok to murder children. This genocide is horrific and I’m ashamed to live in the same country as the people who allow this to happen.

I know it’s been said already, but I agree and am glad that @mehdirhasan.bsky.social was on a recent Jubilee episode. While I feel bad that Mehdi had to endure that, it really showcases how bad things have gotten. Those people represent the right, that’s what we are up against, morons and fascists.

I know that people feel burnt out and that it’s exhausting to deal with the massive amount of bullshit thrown at us daily, but people cannot just check out. There is a literal concentration camp in Florida. We have to be loud about how unacceptable this is, not just stick out heads in the sand.

With everything that’s happening right now, it’s easy to think that we have to respond to this unchecked violence with violence of our own, but we don’t. There may come a time when we have to cross that line, but right now we can win and we can do it peacefully through strength in numbers.

Everything republicans do is a grift, every single thing they do is to make themselves richer while we suffer and die. There’s no question that dem leadership is the same, but at least there are people in our party trying to change things. Republicans are a hive mind bent on destruction.

Idk when we lost all empathy and caring in this country, but we need to find them again. We are dragging people off to concentration camps because they aren’t white and our relationship with other countries sucks, yet Mexico still sends help when we need it. We have got to do better.

The floods in Texas are awful. It’s so unbelievably sad that children are dying and instead of putting more funding towards predicting weather patterns and early warning systems - our idiot politicians are proposing legislation to ban chemicals that control the weather…….

To all Republican voters, as this new bill begins to take effect please understand that it’s elected Republicans that are doing this. When people start dying and you lose your benefits and things get worse, do not forget who did this and vote appropriately in the next election…..if we have anymore.
