Actually this one is the strava activity, I've recorded on both my phone and watch, because some of the segments have really bad gps. Watch did have me run 200m backwards at the start, and more into the woods in one place. On the other hand it has my HR and cadence.

After the ultra hot half-marathon race last week I tried in a more reasonable weather and set a new PB. It even surprised me, I was hoping for 1:45, but was able to speed up and sustain the faster pace in the second half of the run.

Did halfmarathon in Usti yesterday. My first ever half-marathon race. And the weather was brutally hot. People were quitting left and right, some of the pacers gave up.

Finished in 2:04, deeply under my target time. But I am still happy with the time, I gave it all.

I’ve got 3M 2890, and they are excellent.

And are also great for cutting onions.

Kind of weird to be posting about my New Year’s resolution in the middle of summer. But for this year, it was not that I lose some weight but using eye protection every time I do something dangerous.

Cleaning the drain: wear eye protection.

Drilling a hole in the wall: wear eye protection.
