Be serious. It's Politico, they don't want to run anti Trump articles in the 1st place, they've been pro Trump since 2015, pretending they had some integrity to be suppressed is pretty pathetic. They actually pay Rachel Bade to vomit up unedited whatever House Freedom caucus types give her.
It’s so brilliantly low tech and clownshow at the same time. Nothing fancy that can be traced, just angle grinders and scooters but they missed the most valuable piece in the room and I’m sure that you won’t drop a jeweled tiara and leave it behind when you do your crown jewel robbery.
9th enbanc isn’t like most other districts, it’s not the entire district, it’s 10 randomly selected out of 29 and Trump appointed 13 of those. Not that much of a random chance and it’s a Trump majority appointees deciding this.
@ericlipton.nytimes.com Please tell us more about how @nytimes.com will hold the Trump administration to account. Trump has been on an open corruption crime spree since he took office and there hasn’t been nearly as many articles as there were about an email server and not one with the same tone.
In theory yes but for the next 13 months we need it like crazy or the GOP will pass so many election laws that destroy Democratic chances for the House in 2026 and right now that is the entire ballgame. We won't survive til 2028 as a democracy if there isn't some sort of brake.
Sure but SCOTUS know what they really meant was that any POTUS named Trump is uniquely special and laws don't apply to him because the inherent majesty of the world's largest combover.
The problem isn’t really the Guard from any of these states even Texas, it would be bad no doubt but the Guard isn’t the provocative oppression force that Trump/Miller wants it to be. I’m a lot more worried they go back to their plan to send something like the 82nd Airborne in and light the flame.
It’s just an injunction, you’re assuming that on appeal SCOTUS won’t allow him to kick off a civil war this way, I would not take that bet on even odds.
In the 80's and 90's the question would have been 'why hasn't the president done ANYTHING about his IVF campaign pledge? Was it just a cynical attempt to get votes?'
It’s Rachel Bade. She’s strictly a mouthpiece for GOP House leadership and has been for close to a decade but with less shame than an official GOP party operative. This isn’t even the worst of it, her Jan 6 excuses defied reason and reality. She’s exhibit #1 on what Politico’s pro GOP bias is.
Literally ignoring everything going on in Ukraine which is redefining modern warfare. Muscled up paratroopers basically irrelevant compared to a skilled first person drone operator or an artillery crew.
Announcing the plan in advance is a pretty good way to ensure SCOTUS will go all in on throwing 2028 election to whoever the GOP candidate is. They will stop at nothing to maintain their power.
Trump 2024 getting the free pass was more significant than any of those. It not only allowed Trump to dodge the trial, it gave him a free pass to be as openly corrupt as he likes and we’ll be suffering for that for at least another 3.5 years.
