After Balloon Fiesta 2025 ended I headed up into the Sandia mountains for some photos since I was so close to there.

In the first photo I was in the clouds and it was freezing - 45˚F.

Oh wow.

OM System lent me the OM System M. Zuiko 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25 IS PRO lens for the duration of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta - I get to keep it until October 17th.

Took this photo of the Moon with it on Saturday, October 4th at Balloon Fiesta Park during the Night Glow.

I'm getting the same or better photos in low light with OM System like I did last year with Fujifilm. That's a win in my opinion for generally smaller cameras and lenses.

I had my OM-1 Mark II on the tripod, so I decided to illuminate it with my red headlamp and then focus on it so the drones in the distance would be slightly out of focus thus creating more solid colors instead of tiny dots of the drones. Turned out pretty cool.
