Thank you everyone for a very successful Black Friday sale!🧡
By the end of things Friends With Death nearly cracked the top ten in satire and horror comedy, the only genres I really care about so I am pretty chuffed with that! Also 33 in British Horror Fiction is nothing to sniff at!🙌🥳 #authorsky
What game have I just started playing? #gamingsky

Here's a hint: Big looming gothic castle, but also a modern way of collecting the rubbish bins apparently.😄

Resident Evil: Death Island (2023) Review:

These CGI Resident Evil movies are my guilty pleasure, they are cheesy, bombastic, make little to no sense and I love them for it!

This one reunites the characters from the first 2 games and sends them to a zombie infested Alcatraz, nuff said!

7.5/10⭐🎥

I was just ridiculously excited to see a Great Spotted Woodpecker at my suet coconut feeder when I looked out my window. This explains exactly why the last one was picked clean! #birdsky

Good day people of Bluesky!🧡
I hope you are having a fantastic Thursday! Now...
I'd like to play a game.
I've been looking through old photos and been reminded how much my face has changed, but it's also always looked strangely anachronistic, so tell me, how old do you think I am in this photo?

Am I being dumb to only just now realize that Fraiser is a bit of a pun for phraser, because the show likes a turn of phrase. Or am I being mad for thinking that might be the case in the first place🤔 #tvsky

Giving the Death Stranding directors cut a go. I went in blind, only knowing that it's a bit weird. I was not prepared! I already want to play it again! #gamingsky

I've been on one of my "I need to rearrange everything" moods again, I've done it so many times now that I think next time everything will be back in its original position, then the cycle will be complete!

Last day of my lunchtime puzzle game was a bit weak, mostly I only got to sort out some frames and match a few up, ah well, there is always next week!

People back in 1905 really knew how to write a dedication! #booksky

Love this one, especially all the logistics and firsthand reports storytelling, so much was lost in the movie so if you haven't read it, check it out! So glad it's available in the library😊🧟 #booksky

Completely different books but there was just something pleasing about seeing them placed together on the shelf like that😄

I said to myself I'd read a book a month this year, I just finished my first today and I'm still counting it!

I fixed it! (Tentatively) Once again card and book tape saves the day!🙌

These are some bold claims by these Quakers, but they did sure make a pretty cover typeface back in 1907!

Sorry I haven't posted today, I got hyper-focused on relabelling all these books😅 #librarysky

It's weird being an author with the first draft of a sequel written, thinking of the people reading your book and wondering what happens to the characters, knowing but not being able to say anything💀😈

I hit a bit of a snag with the puzzle after my buffet lunch. I managed to finish the edges, but the dimensions are too big for the table!😅
I was lured in by the siren song of a 1500 piece jigsaw & tricked again! I'll have to figure his logistical nightmare out tomorrow now, I have repairs to do!🧩

Well, I forgot my lunch today and turns out the campus shop is unexpectedly closed. Looks like the only alternative is a takeout box from the Chinese buffet place on campus.

I think this journal on Mining Accidents from 1923 is in contention for the record of smallest book to biggest map, at least for the time!🗺️ #booksky

Came into work early this morning after I woke up with a book idea and couldn't get back to sleep.
Campus is so lovely and peaceful at this time. 🌅
Good morning and have a good day🧡

So many memorable roles and a true diamond in everything she appeared in right up to the end, RIP Cathrine O'Hara🌹

Being an author is realizing 4 drafts in; if you switch a couple of words around, it unlocks a whole new meaning in a sentence.
