Be sure to check out this revival of Silent Scream at EIFF. Embarrassed to say the film was new to me, but it blew me away when I watched it for this interview. I'm amazed we don't shout about it more in Scotland. It's screening in honour of the late, great Paddy Higson

What's going on with the UK film release calendar in June? I know the summer is always a dead time for arthouse and indie cinema, but it seems particularly barren this year. Anyone any intel?
