It's my 2025 Christmas card! The mice are back this year! I was inspired by Christmas past, when my sister and I would make paper chains and homemade Advent calendars. Then on Christmas Eve we would snuggle up and read... My little mice are reading something special...

So no one told me there's a part in writing when you have all the plot figured out and you are just adding little character stuff and it's so fun and rewarding. You're just making little connections that run through the story.

I found the paper dolls my mom and I made when I was about 5. Mom's is on the left. I love seeing how I tried to copy the way she drew. I remember loving the way she made eyes. My mom is a big reason I am an artist today.
