In an attempt to escape the memories and guilt Lucifer moves far away and eventually comes across a job listing for an au pair to a young girl that is about Charlie’s age - Emily. Thinking it could be cathartic, he interviews with girl’s adult sister, Sera, and learns Sera and Emily’s parents died.

Sadly, in the early hours of the morning, Lucifer gets a call from the police. His wife and daughter got into a car accident and did not survive. Lucifer fully blames himself.

Overwhelmed with guilt, Lucifer is haunted by visions of his dead family and has frequent panic attacks.
