I saw something on BBC that reasonates - basically that social media is dying but the energy is now in smaller currated communities, like WhatsApp or Telegram chats, friend and group texts etc. The platforms are degerating into AI slop that doesn't even show people you follow.

Not over the frustration that mention of type 1 diabetes + prior committments on diabetes have been removed from the #ActonNCDs political declaration #UNGA80

People with diabetes all over the promo material but we get removed from the Declaration to "streamline" it.

People with diabetes aren't pinning for the good ole days of #globalhealth. There were never good olde days for diabetes. We are languishing under a banner of #NCDs, now is as good as it has ever been.

It just needs to be better.
