I love our planet, music, cats, dogs, books and food, and I'm trying not to drink myself into an early(ish) grave. I like a laugh and I live on the south coast of England. Born in 1960, so a hateful boomer. Sorry.

No, you're being very reasonable. As I've been whizzing up and down Britain a lot lately, and popping into motorway services for a wee and a coffee, I've discovered "cortado" which is PERFECT for me - strong and the right size.

I had to look that up! Fascinating

I want to see that bloke in the Hague, not making money out of ID cards and human misery
janenapier1960.bsky.social
Yes I've done that but not heard anything yet

I emailed the council and the Anglesey Squirrel people because they are protected but haven't heard anything yet

Oh no it definitely is owned and cared for.

Plus I'm a bit intimidated by it 🤣

I was thinking about grabbing it and putting a bell on it but that's probably illegal...
janenapier1960.bsky.social
What to do though? Would it be wrong of me to "name and shame" the cat on a local Anglesey Facebook page?
janenapier1960.bsky.social
Hmm I don't know. Some cat owners get really hysterical about people feeding their cats but yeah - it must be hungry, although it looks well cared for and has a tracker on its collar!! I'm not touching it though. It yowled at me when I took this picture

Nothing to do with trees but just harking back to your comments about cats earlier in the year. I've just moved to Anglesey and a local cat has been killing red squirrels and eating them in my garden. What on EARTH can I do about this? Nobody knows where this cat lives...😱

There’s renewable energy ads and there’s mother**cking wind farm ads. This, blissfully, is the latter.

Hello Helen! I am very well thanks! You? We're making some radical changes. We bought a park home for over 60s on Angelsey and a seaside caravan for our son. Finally some quality time is on the horizon 😍

My loutish 33 year old son made your lemon chicken with orzo last Sunday for our lunch and we all swooned. It was LOVELY! Even he couldn't fuck it up (he usually over-seasons things) but he then went on to get so drunk that he disgraced himself in a local pub and was barred. Weekends! Yay!

I suppose they wouldn't dare. Bird lovers might also be cat owners and they'd lose revenue.
@irishrainforest.bsky.social has no such scruples - fair play to him as he's fearless. (I'm lying low with regard to pet ownership 🤣)

Same here - cat whipped me in the face with her tail until I got up at 5.30 😂

Noooo!!! Poisoning Pigeons in the Park makes me so happy 😭

I do try! I just can't help worrying about things in the middle of the night 🤣

I hope it wasn't the Daily Mail. Or the Express. Or.....oh bloody hell 🫣

So....I couldn't make a whole roast dinner out of one then? 🤣
