In 2021, the @icos-ri.eu Ocean Thematic Centre organised a large intercomparison study at the Marine Station Ostend of #VLIZ, comparing 27 instruments used for surface ocean pCO₂ measurements. Today, the results are published and one method emerges most reliable! 👏 #ICOS #oceanobservation

We co-organised a successful side-event at #UNOC3 on the clearing house mechanism for the #BBNJ treaty. @IocUnesco’s Vidar Helgesen delivered an inspiring keynote. I was on the panel stressing we don’t start from scratch: data systems and communities supporting them are in place.
