Mijn eerste herinneringen aan X-Rated was op zondag half in slaap vallen met KinkFM nog aan (RIP Arjen ❤️) en dan wakker worden met ongekende muziek. Nu 25 jaar later weer herontdekt op muzikaal gebied. Gefeliciteerd met deze mijlpaal!

Ja, Erik stopt… dat wil zeggen: met de mallemolen van ‘studioalbum-bandtournee’.

Hij blijft albums maken en bijzondere dingen op het podium, maar in zijn eigen tempo en niet in de vorm van bandtournees.

Geen afscheid van Spinvis dus; wel van zijn clubtournees ‘as we know them’.

Wat een bijzondere dag: Eric de Jong kondigde bij @mennopot.bsky.social aan dat hij stopt met Spinvis als band en dat vanavond in Haarlem het laatste zou zijn. Ben blij dat ik daar getuige van mocht zijn, maar ben ook een beetje bedroefd.. Ga deze geweldige muzikanten enorm missen..
