🐻🎌🗾⛰️🌳 | Japan bear attacks increasing. In our mountainous rural area we only hike in groups with bells and poles. Crazy that bear spray is restricted. Rural depopulation luring more bears but also shortsighted govt forestry policy destroys native habitat for monoculture logging plantations of cedar.

Saw them in a warehouse by the port in Osaka 20 yr ago. Typical Japan live concert experience: corralled into pens like sheep way back from the stage. A few drunk gaijin (me included) sneaked into the stagefront gap between pens. Liam sees us and goes, “This one’s for the cool c*nts in the middle!”
