This is an unexpected twist. I’m in favor of transparency but not surveillance. But in this case, it seems that the administration is in a bind given they are trying to avoid regulating AI but also don’t want ICE officers to be publicly known. Interesting.

If you fire the messengers of bad news, you will undermine confidence in the system. An economy where you can’t trust the numbers being reported will result in businesses that need stability looking elsewhere since investors will find it difficult to evaluate them.
