I just don’t want to fight FOR a broken system.
I can fight for other things: for fairness, equity, those who are disadvantaged by the system.
And I can fight FOR declaring it the right time to fix and rethink our democratic systems. (9/10)

It baffles me how much people think it’s the cure-all be-all. It is NOT.
And it won’t/can’t fix itself.
Unless maybe we make it the right time. And we dare to build a systems and learn to also criticize democracy as it currently stands. B/c how else will it get better? (7/10)

Democracy, as it is practiced today, is outdated. And it’s broken.
Because it’s built on broken systems.
It’s built on White Supremacy and patriarchal structures. It serves a certain group of people. And right now, we can see who it serves. (6/10)

How much systemic & unspoken-but-vehemently-practiced discrimination & racism I experienced. And now, I’m supposed to fight. Stand up against fascism. B/c „never again is now“. Fuck this. „Never again“ has been happening as long as I could think. And when I stood up I was gaslit & belittled. (3/10)
