..and I've been patient for it to pop big time. In the back of my mind is who can pull the levers to soften the blow. The US need bubble levels AI investment just to cover the recession reality and the debt time bomb waiting to go off.

The question though, is it? The dot com bust happened, no activity for a few years and then the IPO's started up again. Housing kept (incorrectly) going up. The AI bubble is just that but as much as I want to be cynical and realistic about the massive over investment in AI. I want it to pop....

I'd been monitoring crypto flash crashes for a while. Where you'd get one every three or four months, whale drops happened eight times in one month during September on certain coins.

Wait for the US markets to close, then announce. 15%-30% losses are nasty but not surprising, a lot of institutional money in there now. Retail trading gets hit first.
