An illustration featuring Zevran Arainai and Warden Ulric Cousland from Dragon Age Origins sort of squished in -- what appears to be a second level of backalley?? SORT OF? Because this is how Zevran tells this story anyway.

The whole scene is set into Antiva - so the architecture is stylized to look like Venice with the red and teal tones, white ledges and cracked walls.

Ulric - the warrior with a massive scar on his face, is standing on some sort of convenient portal in the alley, leaning against the wall, while Zevran, the blond elven rogue dressed in a cape slid (or climbed? one never knows with Zev) down the alley and his holding himself up in between the two walls, dagger stabbed on one side above Ulric's head for leverage. Their faces are *very* close to each other, about to kiss, Ulric caressing Zev's chin playfully. The sun is lighting up Zev's hair.

The alley is partly overgrown by ivy. In the foreground there are little ropes with little flags.

Full lineup of all the Mentors+ some side characters from the Circle of Magic series by Tamora Pierce! Plus a couple bonus doodles 🤌 so so so happy with how these came out, it was such a good chance to do a wide range of character designs!

From Left to right:
Dedicate Lark- a tall, athletic woman with light brown skin, short curly hair, and catlike features. She wears a leather pouch (her mage kit) on her hip, and is stretching her arms.
Dedicate Rosethorn- about a head shorter than Lark, she has fine features, pale skin, and short red hair. She has a basket of plants on one hip, her hand on the other, and a no nonsense expression on her face.
Niklaren Goldeye, aka. Nico- an older man a couple inches taller than Rosethorn, he has long dark hair streaked with grey, bushy brows and mustache, and a curious expression. He is the only one not wearing winding circle robes, instead wearing a blue wool coat, light grey shirt, and slightly darker grey breeches, tucked into dark leather boots.
Dedicate Frostpine- A confident looking man with dark skin and a bald crown, he has let the rest of his afro grow wild and free. He wears a confident expression, as well as a robe and leather apron soot-stained from his work in the forge.

From left to right:
Dedicate Crane- a thin, willowy man with stringy black hair, eyeglasses, and a sour expression on his face. He wears the yellow robes of the wind temple, with black trim to indicate his initiate status in the winding circle temple.
Dedicate Skyfire- A tall & muscular man in his fourties, he wears his red hair cropped close, with a dutiful and confident expression. He wears the red robes of the fire temple, with black trim and a gold circle embroidered on the chest to indicate he is the leader of the fire temple. He carries a wooden staff that I didn't finish rendering 😭
Honored moonstream- a slender older woman with a serene expression and long grey locs. She wears the blue robes of the water temple, with a gold circle in the chest and gold trim to indicate that she is the head of the Winding Circle Temple.
Dedicate Gorse- a chubby man, a bit shorter with tanned skin and a beard. He wears his hair tucked under a beige bandana, as well as a flour streaked apron. His robes are so stained from his work as head chef of winding circle, so it's unclear exactly what temple he belongs to.
Duke Vedris- An older man with a firm yet kind expression and a shaved head. His clothes are quite moderate, with a loose shirt, vest, and breeches tucked into boots. The only indicators of his status are the small pieces of gold jewelry he wears, as well as the gold embroidery on his vest.

A collection of bonus drawings featuring the characters from the last two illustrations, including:
-Rosethorn in a wide brimmed straw hat
-Dedicate Gorse wearing his hair in a high bun, with Briar Moss munching a muffin behind him
-Nico, this time without a jacket and wearing his hair in a ponytail
-Frostpine as he first appears in the books, with his habit fastened around his waist and wearing no shirt.
