Yesterday, before flying back from MInnesota back to Washington after Xmas celebrations with my family, I was sitting in a diner in St. Paul listening to Prince playing overhead. Then in the airport security line, a MN senator was in front of me. Dang MN you gave me all the feels for my send-off. 🩷

Didn’t think we’d be able to celebrate the holidays together as a family this year and it was soul crushing. Alas, we are coming home to Minneapolis for a weekend and I can’t wait. Negative temperatures or not?

At the Chania (Crete), Greece airport. Lordt help me as we fly to Helsinki (Finland), then to Dallas then to Seattle for a total of 16 hours on an airplane with layovers in between. Lordt help Tim even more as I am one of the worst fliers (hence the Xanax 😃).

Minneapolis💚 An early morning walk around Lake of the Isles. For my non-Minnesota friends, yes, there is this spectacular chain of lakes IN THE CITY. If you’ve not been to MN, you should go. It feels good to be home. (But I love you too, Washington because I have really good taste).

Minneapolis/St. Paul airport is 10/10. Granted I’m biased as it’s my old hometown airport. But man some are trickier than others (looking at you SeaTac-my new hometown airport).
