I reviewed both Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero (fine for handheld, meh for TV play) and One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (good upgrade, but should've been better) for @nintendoinsider.bsky.social: www.nintendo-insider.com/dragon-ball-...

@quest64official.bsky.social Was able to pick this up today for $5.

I know the N64 library isn’t very big, but I’ve never heard of “Twisted Edge”.

Considering how cheap it was, it must not be much of a cult classic, but I was curious what your thoughts on it were with your N64 knowledge

Lucked out at the Thrift Store today and scored some N64 games.

One of them was Pokemon Snap, so here are some of the pictures they had in their collection. Likely from years ago.

Besides Inglorious Basterds, anyone know what the other movies are in this visual novel background?
November 18, 2025 at 9:54 PM
This is a perfect example of how more visually pleasing “help/direction” could be in past games vs. now.

The original allows the user to have a suspension of disbelief. While the newer attempt just has them questioning who the mad painter is.
whats up my fellow gamers

The big issue with "December Cutoff" for award shows.

Even if content from then can count for the "Next Year", it's more than possible titles get forgotten, especially when it's for a smaller category.
Actually, hey, wait a minute they're right. Where's Sonic the Hedgehog 3?

Hittin the final days of Arttrober. Today is the last planned piece. It just so happens to be Regina from Dino Crisis! I don't have experience with the game, but I would gladly try it if they decided on a remake!

If AAA devs want to pull the whole “AI is letting us make games faster/cheaper”, then arguably games should be cheaper to the consumer as well.

Though of course that’s never how these things pan out. Prices will instead go up for the slop.
Apparently Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is rampant with AI art.

Retro games failed us.

If this was a nerdy girl scientist, we would’ve been swimming in fan art.

Instead everyone is just mad lol
"Samus, there's something interesting over there. Are you sure we don't need to use that?"

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond delivers the series' trademark gameplay - but one very annoying addition might derail the whole thing:

It isn't one, but it feels like a PS4 Pro Pro. Outside of Returnal literally every game is a follow-up to a title that was on PS4. Yes, even Astro Bot.

It's good hardware but the combination of COVID and the ballooning cost of development has made the flow of games slow to a crawl.
Whenever I chat to anyone about the PS5's life so far, am I typically met with a waft of lukewarm praise or shrug of plain ambivalence? Why hasn't it captivated people - at least me - in the way the PS4 did? https://bit.ly/3LCEQZu

*Free Upgrade for Switch Owners*

That's what we like to see. Literally just bought a RDR physical switch copy because of this news.

Really wish MORE developers would offer free upgrades on Switch 2. Has been so odd how many just don't offer them. Giving consumers less options.

This state of play was clearly a way to try and push more units in Japan. Especially with the announcement of a cheaper region-locked PS5.

However, the show itself left a lot to be desired. Can’t imagine anyone seeing this and going “now I’ll get a ps5”.

Funko has more entries than just the figures everyone knows.

However, that’s still their biggest identifier and truth be told, a collapse of the figures was inevitable.

Not just because of over saturation, but because the collector market is far more competitive now.
Funko has warned it might not survive another year.
The company is $250M in debt and might not survive without an acquisition or new funding.
