also after typing out the whole Irish wake/funeral thing I was reminded of the asshole who claimed that I somehow wasn't Irish bc I couldn't name the exact counties my relatives were from, even tho both sides of my g-grandparents came from Ireland. I mean I wasn't claiming to have LIVED in Ireland.

I just saw this clip on reddit & I'm laughing so hard. I didn't realize his parents died 2 days apart, so did mine in 2011. I'm Irish heritage too & literally I cannot explain how many laughs were had during the week they died. Only way we deal with death here. 😂
