I'm always a fan of the parks trying something new, but also disappointed at the dilution of immersive spaces.

Our hearts are so broken and we’re both exhausted; she’s been applying non stop since she was let go in July. Trying to remain hopeful.

Another highlight of the year was the Galactic Gala, which I’m proud to say will be returning next year.
What started out as a small dinner party with theming being quickly grew into an immersive evening with a custom game, out of this world food a the best guests in the galaxy. ✨

I hope for reunion of Sebastian Castellanos and Joseph Oda; two skilled detectives going up against an evil super computer that creates alternate realities? Yes please!

This year I finally fell under the spell of Baldur’s Gate 3.
Though I played plenty of D&D long ago, BG3 provided a level of story and character that I never would have expected.
Of course Astarion became a favorite of both my wife and I, and cosplay soon followed.

The summer also brought one of my favorite costuming memories yet - being able to troop with the 501st Legion as a First Order Lieutenant, on a replica of the Starcruiser’s atrium.
For hours I insulted strangers (playfully!) and encouraged them to explore our immersive set - all for charity.

I’m well into act two and I’ve warmed up to the game significantly.
Act one almost made me give up on the game; I felt like it was glacially slow, and the intro to act two might have been a better opener to the story.
