USA’s Film industry decline is due to:

1. Studio greed destroying paths to nurture talent and ideas.

2. Rising media like video games and verticals.

3. Nations investing in homegrown film endeavors.

Note the lack of Newsom. Tariffs over tax incentives will only hasten Hollywood’s heat death.

Also the “liberal” American news media constantly renews my disgust at them. They’re only introducing Assata as “former BLA,” not “former BPP.” I, natch, have complex personal feelings on both, but one has the far more negative public perception and news media gatekeepers are well aware of it.

Rest in Power. I never knew Assata Shakur personally, only through stories, but I looked forward to meeting her in that brief window of time Americans had access to Cuba. I know the ‘rents and dad’s siblings must be particularly affected.
