Bon vivant; loves music, gigs, travel, veggie food, aperol & red lipstick! Memorial Device Alternative National Treasure🎖🤩
Just finished Mike Joyce’s book, I loved it, such an easy story telling style, so relatable, funny and sentimental too.

Highly recommended to everyone who loves The Smiths, Manchester, the music scene or just a bit of a tale.

We mentioned this band a few months ago when discussing Manchester in the 80s on #WeekendSingles and look, they’re back! @psychedelictony.bsky.social

A few years ago I framed my Stone Roses post cards, bought from the poster shop in Afflecks Palace around 1991, they spent all of the 90s pinned on the walls of my various bedrooms from home to Uni to Manchester and back again ❤️

Little Mani moments all over Manchester today 🍋❤️

In 89 I fell in love with The Stone Roses, they were the posters on my wall, the band we went to the ends of the earth to watch, the vinyl we collected, the T-shirts we bought in Afflecks palace & the band we stalked through the streets of Manchester in the early 90s

Gutted. RIP Mani ❤️🍋

TOTP 1982, Martin, Nick, Kevin and Terry, doesn’t get much better. What a year for music.

Watching an old TOTP. Billy, what an absolutely beautiful man and mesmerising to see him on stage 😍

Absolutely loving Mike Joyce’s book. Laughing at the story about stalking the Buzzcocks, totally reminds me of walking the streets of Manchester trying to find the home of Chainmail, the James fan club back in the day.

Guess what song the choir sang at the finale of the Barrow light switch on?

It’s pretty unexpected, if you can guess it you’ll get a prize! 🍾😆

Another load of shoe boxes ready to go to Ukraine 🎁🇺🇦

As I sit here wrapping & packing with the rain & dark outside, I’m thinking of the children I met in the orphanages and of their little faces when we arrived with their boxes and I know it’s all worth the effort 🥰
