I kinda want to finish remaking my MDM2025 after actually rewatching the originals, but that's what I've been doing wrong all along:
The originals were their own thing and didn't need a ginormous scope.

It's kind of crazy how, despite me taking a break for 3 years (which I honestly thought I quit and moved on) from something I was ubber obsessed with, I ended up returning in a tamer yet still strong manner.
Especially when not many others that I knew, who were also connoisseurs, were as lucky :(.

I guess it's just crazy how we grieve sometimes. We don't want to deny the sadness (if we do we become some passive aggressive madman), but at the same time we want to keep moving forward for everyone else's sake.

The issue with working on animation is that I have to stay away from social media, or even YT vids, to avoid getting distracted (or worse, uninspired to my detriment by anything that may resemble even a TENTH of my idea, leading my imposter syndrome to quit)
I'm perfectionist & ocd like that...
