I’m a 5foot nothing, 70 year old woman, and I have used public transit all over the world, with no problems (other than getting on the wrong trains a few times, my bad).

I remember boycotting during the first Trump term, but it was a personal thing, not a big deal. I don’t know how many of us participated. This time there is a complete change in how Canadians feel - disappointed, insulted, threatened. This loss of trust is going to take a long time to get over.

Europeans right now are launching anti-tourism campaigns, Spain for example. I know not all countries are against tourism, but a lot of Canadians are wary about booking Europe at the moment.
